• The router and satellite are linked up when the Orbi device shows the solid amber LED.

• There is no power supply if the power LED is off.

Router Ring LED

The router ring LED is located at the top of the Orbi unit.

• The router is powering up or someone pushes the sync button when the router ring shows the pulsing white LED.
• A router completes the booting process and it works normally as it should if the router ring LED is off.
• The router reset to its factory default settings if the router ring shows the solid white LED.
• A router is unable to link with the internet when the router ring LED is solid magenta.

Satellite Ring LED

When you purchase the Orbi mesh WiFi router device the Orbi satellite comes along with them. The satellite ring LED is located at the top of the unit.

• When the connection between router and satellite is good then the blue LED starts blinking for three minutes.
• The connection between the router and satellite is fair, but not good when the amber LED starts flashing for three minutes.
• The Orbi satellite failed to sync with the router.
• The satellite successfully syncs with the router and it works normally when the satellite ring LEDs are off.

Attach Your Router

• First, you will need to unplug the modem which is connected to the wall jack for your internet services.
• Note: If the model uses the battery backup then take out the battery.
• After that, plug in the modem in the socket and turn it on. Also, put the battery back in it, if your modem uses the battery backup.
• Now, attach the modem to the internet port of the router with the help of the yellow ethernet wire which comes with the router unit.
• Next, link the power adaptor to the router and plug in the power adaptor in the power socket.

• First, settle the Orbi satellite.

• If the power LED which is located at the back of the satellite blinked then press the powered on/off button.

• Next, within two minutes push the sync button on your router.
