There are two ways to login into the Orbi. The first one is done using a web browser. So here’s how you can login into Orbi via web browser:

• First ensure Orbi is on and working actively. 
• Now pick your laptop or any other smart device like a mobile phone, computer, iPad or a tablet. 
• The task is now to pair this device to the Orbi either wirelessly or using ethernet wire. For wireless pairing you need to toggle wifi of your device and then utilize the credentials that are written on the Orbi’s product label. You can easily find this label on the bottom panel of the Orbi. 
• Once connected, open the internet browser on the same device. Chrome, firefox, internet explorer, edge as well as Safari all can lead you towards an Orbi login page. 
• As you launch the browser, go to its URL column. Into it fill up the login address. You have multiple alternatives for it. These are orbilogin.com, orbilogin.net and 192.168.1.1. 
• After typing the address click on Enter. This will lead you to the login page where you’ll be prompted to fill in the login information. If it’s your first time logging in, then by default the username is admin and the password is “password”. 
• Finally hit on Login and with that your Orbi login process completes and you get access to the control panel. 

Note: 

Sometimes the browser doesn’t let you enter the main login page. So in that case make sure the browser is up-to-date. Then clean up its caches and cookies folder. Because the old saved data can sometimes confuse the router. 

Quick Login Via Orbi App

Orbi login using a web browser may seem to be a little complex and time consuming for some users. So an alternative to the above traditional login method is using the Orbi app. Here’s how you can login via app:

• Ensure activation of Orbi. 
• Take a cellphone. On it open Google Play Store or App Store. Search for the Orbi app. Tap on Install. 
• Do you already have access to the Orbi app? Scan for its pending updates. 
• Now after the installation is done, pair your smart device to the Orbi using wireless credentials that are written on the back panel of the Orbi unit. Additionally, you can also fetch them from the quick user manual. 
• Finally, launch the app. New users create a Netgear account. Existing ones type in the Orbi login credentials and hit Login. 
• With this you’ll now have access to the main Orbi dashboard.
